Hi, I'm Sara Rose, and I'm so glad you're here! I'm someone who loves the little things in life: exploring new places, finding beautiful spots in nature, spending time outdoors, and making memories along the way. I've had a camera in my hands since I was 14, and my love for photography has only grown since. During the week, I spend my days as a PreK teacher, which has given me a deep appreciation for the sweet, silly, and wonderfully unpredictable moments that make childhood so special.
And that's exactly what I hope to bring into every session. I love capturing the little moments that make life so special. The genuine laughs, sweet connections, happy chaos, and all the in-between moments that often end up meaning the most. My approach is relaxed and natural, giving you the space to simply be yourselves, enjoy each other, and let the moments unfold without worrying about posing for the camera. I want your photos to feel like you and tell your story just as it is.
From engagements and elopements to maternity and family, I'm here to capture love through every season of life. My hope is to give you photos that feel just like you and bring you right back to the moments you'll want to hold onto forever. I'm so happy to be a small part of your story!

Do you travel for photoshoots?
Absolutely! I love exploring new locations and am happy to travel for your session! For sessions that are 1 hour or less, I currently travel within 1 hour of Seattle. For sessions that are 2 hours or longer, I'm happy to travel up to 3 hours from Seattle. Elopements are a little different, and I'm always open to traveling farther to capture your special day!
For locations more than 45 minutes from Seattle, a travel fee of $50 per hour of travel time will apply. If you have a location in mind that's a little farther away, feel free to reach out! I'd love to chat about it.
What should we wear for our session?
When it comes to what to wear, I always recommend keeping things simple, comfortable, and true to you! Think soft, neutral tones, earthy colors, and pieces that feel effortless and timeless. Flowy dresses, cozy textures, and layers are always a favorite. Try to avoid busy patterns, large logos, or anything that feels too distracting. If you're coordinating with your family or partner, choose colors that complement each other rather than matching perfectly. Most importantly, wear something you feel good in! I want you to feel comfortable, move around, cuddle up, and just enjoy being together. The goal is to capture you, exactly as you are.
How long does it take to get our photos?
I know how exciting it is to see your photos, and I promise they'll be worth the wait! My turnaround time for sessions under 2 hours is approximately 2 weeks. For longer sessions and elopements, please allow up to 4 weeks. I take the time to carefully select and edit each image so your gallery feels just as special as the moments themselves. I can't wait for you to see them!
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes! I believe your photos deserve to be enjoyed beyond the screen. You'll have the option to purchase beautiful prints and photo albums directly through your online gallery. It's an easy way to turn your favorite moments into something you can hold onto and enjoy for years to come!
